I’m currently watching my way through a let’s play of Uncharted 1 and 2 which I never got to play myself and while I LOVE the story (hard not to, really) I can’t help but think that I probably would not finish the game if I were playing it because the shootouts are the most repetetive gameplay element, yet they make up half the game.

What amazes me about that is that it wouldn’t really be necessary and would actually add to the realism of the game if there weren’t a hundred enemies in a hotel waiting for Nate even though there was no way of knowing he would even come there.

I think The Last of Us did that a lot better, especially with the sneaking sequences when the clickers came.

Anyway, thanks for reading my little rant!
